April 2022 marks a very special month and year for ZentLaw as we celebrate our 20th anniversary.
When ZentLaw launched in 2002, the nascent alternative legal services provider industry (ALSP) was only just beginning.
Since that time, we have grown the category and the industry beyond what most ever expected.
ZentLaw has led reform in the legal industry with an innovation mindset from day one. Our Founder, Monica Zent contributed this Above the Law piece on the topic of innovation which was widely shared and ushered in a new buzzword and era in our industry. The piece can be found here.
Along our journey, we continued to do things that few had done before and played a significant role in the industry from:

to creating a LegalTech product before the term “legal tech” was a thing,
to launching ZentLaw Labs years before having a Labs function was a thing,
to forging a culture committed to Diversity and Inclusion before doing so was a thing.
At ZentLaw, we’ve been bold enough to see around every corner and step into the unknown time and again and lead the industry.
